Mission

Better Food. Better Lives.

Our mission is to provide technology and support to produce high quality and low-cost food products for people around the world. Our passion is to do it in a way that improves the lives of the people we touch.

We improve the lives of our ultimate customers through the nutrition and satisfaction from our final customer products. Friends, families, and neighbors gather around tables throughout the world to share fellowship while eating products made by our production lines.

We improve the lives of our customers’ workers by building the highest quality equipment that is known for ease of operation, maintenance, and sanitation. Our customers are more successful because they partner with us.

We improve the lives of our people by building teams around the world who share a passion for our customers, our products, and each other. We improve our communities by giving back both financially and with the service of our people. We improve the lives of our shareholders by building enduring companies that can thrive in difficult times as well as the prosperous times.

Markel Business Systems

The Markel Business System (otherwise known as MBS) is what drives our thinking day-in and day-out. MBS is the way we run our family of companies. It defines our fundamental values, describes our core strategic focus, and identifies the critical processes that drives the Markel Food Group. MBS is who we are and how we do everything that we do.
