Markel Food Group Reveals New Brand Logo and Updated Website

Richmond, Virginia – Markel Food Group, parent brand for the family of companies inclusive of AMF Bakery Systems, Reading Bakery Systems, and Solbern, unveiled today a newly redesigned logo and visual identity. Coinciding with the updated logo, the company website (www.markelfoodgroup.com) has also evolved to reflect the brand’s continuous evolution and growing portfolio of food processing equipment solutions.

The new Markel Food Group logo has evolved from the previous pillared logo that was reflective of the Group’s parent company, Markel Corporation, to a more streamlined and simplified brand image.

“Over the last decade, we’ve seen our customers and the industry as a whole change through consolidation of companies, changing consumer trends, and evolving brand strategies,” mentioned Ken Newsome, CEO of Markel Food Group. “What remains unwavering is our commitment to our customers and our focus on our core values. Guided by the Markel Business System, our family of companies seek continuous improvement in all that we do, and we hope that this new brand identity reflects that forward-thinking and outside in mentality.”

Though operating as individual companies, the Markel Food Group companies, under the governance of the Markel Business System, leverage shared technologies and resources to deliver more cost-effective and sustainable food processing solutions to food producers around the world.
